Why Give Back?

The world can be a better place, right? But how? Come to think of it, we feel it's the responsibility of those who have opportunities to thrive and grow to help those in need also thrive and grow. We think the world can be brighter and happier when ordinary people decide to take small steps addressing known issues.

That's why we partner with Shop For Good, a service by DailyKarma. Through their cutting-edge integration service, FuegoGear is enabled to seamlessly donate to leading nonprofits with each purchase. Through their program, we are proud to donate a set percentage (10%) of sales from each item purchased.

What are the nonprofits we support? We chose five leading global organizations that are respected, transparent, and positively impactful. They are each supported equally.

1) World Food Program

We proudly support the mission of the World Food Programme, the leading agency fighting hunger worldwide. By mobilizing individuals, lawmakers, and businesses in the United States to advance the global movement to end hunger, we bolster an enduring U.S. legacy of feeding families in need around the world.

2) World Wildlife Fund

The world’s leading conservation organization, WWF works in 100 countries and is supported by more than one million members in the United States and close to five million globally. WWF's unique way of working combines global reach with a foundation in science, involves action at every level from local to global, and ensures the delivery of innovative solutions that meet the needs of both people and nature.

3) The Nature Conservancy

"Nature's Future is Our Future." The Nature Conservancy is a leading conservation organization working around the world to protect ecologically important lands and waters for nature and people. Since our founding in 1951 we have protected more than 119 million acres of land and 5,000 miles of rivers worldwide - and we operate more than 100 marine conservation projects globally. We have more than one million members. We work in all 50 states and more than 30 countries - protecting habitats from grasslands to coral reefs, from Australia to Alaska to Zambia. We address threats to conservation involving climate change, fire, freshwater, forests, invasive species, and marine ecosystems. We use a science-based approach, aided by our more than 500 staff scientists, and we pursue non-confrontational, pragmatic solutions to conservation challenges.

4) Nothing But Nets - A Project of the United Nations Foundation

Nothing But Nets is a global grassroots campaign to raise awareness, funds, and voices to fight malaria. In 2006, sports columnist Rick Reilly wrote a column in Sports Illustrated challenging each of his readers to donate at least $10 to send insecticide-treated bed nets to protect families from malaria-carrying mosquitoes.

Since then, with the help of their partners and supporters, we have raised over $70 million to help deliver 13 million bed nets to families in need, along with other crucial malaria interventions like diagnostics, treatment, and training of healthcare workers.

5) Charity Water

"Why Water? For people in developing countries, clean water can change everything." Charity Water is a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries.
